Why Choose Us
James started practicing yoga 10 years ago after he was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in his hips. Yoga was immensely beneficial both physically and mentally, and James has been a keen yogi ever since! Having been a martial arts instructor for many years, in 2022 James expanded into yoga and completed his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. He has been teaching since. In need of a seachange, in 2024 James left his corporate role in Finance to pursue yoga teaching full-time. James completed his 25 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training and his 35 hour Advanced Yoga Theming and Sequencing Training in 2024. James enjoys teaching Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow and Yin, with a special interest in strength building and injury recovery, and maintaining mind and body balance. Outside of yoga, James is a keen martial artist and scuba diver. James holds black belts in Japanese Jujitsu and Kickboxing, and is a PADI Master Scuba Diver. He can be seen out and about walking his two beautiful dogs, Lockie and Ivy.
